A Shivgan named Langali established this Linga and got engrossed in the worship of Lord Shiva. That is why this Linga was named Langlishwar. It is described in chapter 55 of Kashi Khand. If a devotee worships Langlishwar, he will never fall sick and will always be healthy. It has also been said in the Kashi Khand that after seeing and worshiping him, donations should be distributed among the poor and farmers, which increases the wealth and prosperity of the devotee manifold. There is no doubt about it.
