Shivgan named Jangli came to Kashi and got engrossed in meditation after consecrating the linga at this place. After a long time, Lord Shiva, pleased with Jangli's devotion, appeared and again got absorbed in the linga. By seeing him, the sins of many births of the devotee are destroyed.
