Prayag Madhav is one of Lord Vishnu's 18 manifestations in Kashi, according to a legend in Kashi Khand. It is thought that when followers worship Prayag Madhav, all of their misdeeds are forgiven. It is said that devotees who take a holy bath in Prayag Teerth are blessed with enough wealth, grain, happiness, and salvation. Prayag Teerth is currently a part of Dashashwamedh. From 5:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon and from 4:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M., the temple is still available for worship. Timings can be negotiable. Both morning and night performances of Aarties are held.
