Mahatma:- In chapter 57 of Kashi Khand, the class of Dhundhiraj Ganesh has come in detail. When Lord Ganesha came to Kashi to elevate King Divodas, he got established here in the form of Dhundhiraj. Lord Shiva himself praised Dhundhiraj Ganesha. Dhundhiraj Ganesh became prestigious in the south direction of Lord Vishwanath. He fulfills the wishes of the devotees by searching them, hence his name became Dhundhiraj Ganesha. Pratham Dhundhirajojsi Mam Dakshinto Manak. आधुंधय सर्व भक्तभ्यः सर्वार्थांसंप्रयच्छसि। Kashi Khand On Magh Shukla Chaturthi, they should be offered laddus of white sesame seeds and they should go on annual pilgrimage on that day. There is importance of his darshan on Shravan Shukla Chaturthi and Chaturthi of every fortnight and Wednesday also. By his grace, living in Kashi becomes easy. Dhandhi pilgrimage is also there. It is also mentioned in Kashi Khand Adhyay 10, 61 and 100. They are mentioned in chapter 41 of Guru Charitra. Dhundhiraj Ganesha is mentioned in Chapter 3 and 10 of Kashi Rahasya under Brahmavaivarta Purana. The glory of Dhandhiraj is also described in Chapter 5 and 29 of the Saptamansh of Shiva Rahasya. They are described in Kashi's Nitya Yatra, Dakshin Manas Yatra, Uttar Manas Yatra, Panchkrosi Yatra, Vishweshwar Intergrihi Yatra and Shadayatan Yatra.
