According to the legend described in the Kashi Khand, out of the fifty-six Vinayakas located in Varanasi, Shri Ganesha's Kuditaksha Vinayak form is included in the Ekadash Vinayak Yatra, which is located inside the old Lakshmi temple near the Mahalakshmi Gauri temple in Lakshmi Kund in Varanasi. According to belief, Kudita Vinayak protects Kashi from negative forces. The Kuditaksh Vinayak Temple remains open throughout the day for devotees to visit and worship.
