The place of Mahisasura Tirtha is almost fixed near Prahlad Ghat and after that there are Banatirtha, Goprataratirtha, Hiranyagarbhatirtha, Pranavatirtha, Pishangila Tirtha and Pilippilatirtha towards the south. There is the ancient Kashi Khandokta temple of Prahlad Keshav Vishnu at Prahlad Ghat, which also comes in the sequence of Shodash Vishnu Yatra of Kashi.
