Various forms of Lord Vishnu situated in Varanasi have been described in Kashi Khand Adhyay-61. Lord Vishnu told Sage Vindu that whoever worships Lord Vishnu in the form of Adikeshava, all his sorrows end and he experiences all happiness and joy. Ultimately, God grants salvation to his devotees. Lord Adi Keshav himself has established Sangameshwar Linga at Varuna Ganga Sangam (Adi Keshav Ghat).
