Lord Vishnu can be worshipped at Kashi at Yagya Varaha Teerth in the form of Yagya Varaha, according to the 61st Chapters of Kashi Khand. It is thought that by worshipping Yagya Varaha, followers will gain advantages comparable to those of a Yagya. The idol of Lord Yagya Varah is worshipped in the Hanuman temple on Mir Ghat even though Yagya Varah Tirth is no longer there. The temple is open every day from 6 a.m. to noon and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. At 7:00 PM, Aarties are performed.
