The temple itself is significant as it includes Country India in it. This temple is significant in India and worships it as a Goddess. It is one of the few temples that has been dedicated to Mother India. It is visited every year by millions of people from around the world. The temple was built by Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta in the year 1936. He happened to be one of the famous freedom fighters. The temple has famously a map of India carved on marble and has no deity from any religion. Its timings are from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM and are open all days.
