Kunitaksha Vinayaka is one of the fifty-six Vinayakas of Kashi. Worshiping his darshan protects from the evil eye of the wicked. All the devotees of Kashi must have darshan of whatever Vinayak is in their area, if not everyday, then on Wednesdays.
