The Badrinarayan Temple at Badri Narayan Ghat in Varanasi is an exquisite replica of the revered Badrinarayan Dham situated amidst the Nar-Narayan mountain range in Uttarakhand. Legend has it that the holy Nar-Narayan Tirtha is situated in the river Ganga adjacent to the Badri Narayan Ghat. It is believed that worshiping Badrinarayan after taking a dip in Nar-Narayan Tirtha can bring blessings equal to those received at Badrinarayan Dham in Uttarakhand. The best time to pay obeisance is during the full moon of the month of Pausha, which falls between December and January.
