On the occasion of solar eclipse in Kashi, bathing in Kurukshetra and worshiping Sthanulingeshwar Linga and Kurukshetreshwar Linga is of great importance. It has been said in Kashi Puranic Tirtha that bathing in this Kurukshetra Tirtha (Kund) on a solar eclipse gives the result of bathing in ten solar eclipses. Due to lack of information and importance, the devotees are left only taking bath in the Ganges. That's why whenever there is a solar eclipse, maximum number of people should bathe in this Kurukshetra and then bathe in the Ganges, failing which people are getting occupied here.
