"In Kashi Khand Chapter-70, the names of Chamunda Devi, Charmmunda Devi, Maharunda Devi appear. This is a very ancient Swayambhu temple. It is written in Durga Chalisa that the pillar was revealed by tearing it, so the mother herself has appeared here. Earlier this temple was in ruins. Darshan worship was done with a lot of trouble, but gradually with the grace of the mother and the cooperation of the devotees, today the form of this temple has changed a lot. It is currently known as Nava Durga Temple. There is a huge crowd of devotees during Navratri. This is the temple of very fast awakened goddess.
