The fifth manifestation of Maa Durga is Skanda Mata. She is known as Skanda Mata because she always had her son Skanda, aka Kartikeya, in her lap. It is believed that by seeing and worshipping the Goddess, all of the devotees' prayers are granted and that they can easily find the way to peace, happiness, and salvation. Optimal time for worship: From 5:00 am to 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, this temple is open. Morning and night time Aartis are held. In time, change is possible.
