There is greatness in worshiping Krodhan Bhairav in the Asht Pradhan Bhairav of Kashi. Bhairavashtami is celebrated as the birthday of all these Bhairavs. Sunday and Tuesday have special significance. It is said that where Shakti Peetha resides, Bhairav also resides there for protection. His place is near Maa Kamakhya Devi. They can be easily seen through the door on the side.
