Kashi 42 Mahasiddha Linga (Moksha Linga) Yatra which takes place in three cycles of fourteen-fourteen, then Swarlineshwar Linga is the main temple in the third Chaturdash Linga Yatra. It is mentioned that devotees should visit Shaileshwar after bathing in Varuna and Sangameshwar after bathing in Varuna-Ganga confluence. After this religious act, the devotee should take a bath in Swarleen Tirtha (now this pilgrimage is over) and worship Swarleeneshwar. According to Kashi Khand Adhyay-33, Swarleeneshwar Linga is the same Linga in which the Lord disappeared into this Linga to fulfill the wishes of the devotee.
