According to a legend found in Kashi Khand, Lord Vishnu, who is known in Kashi as Kolahala Narsimha, is situated next to Atyugra Narasimha. Additionally, a school for the Vedas is situated on the grounds of the temple to educate visitors about the Vedas. From 4:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. and from 5:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M., the temple is available for worship. Morning and evening Aarties are held.
