This temple is located at a place called Lohatiya, about 5 km from the railway station, about 40 km east of the district headquarter Varanasi. The idol of Ganesha in the temple is east facing. The temple is decorated profusely on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the main festival. Ganesh Utsav is also celebrated with great enthusiasm. He is also known as Maharaj Vinayak (Big Ganesh).
