Situated at a distance of about 9 km to the south-east from the district headquarter, Durgakund temple has the status of Durg Vinayak. The base of the temple is at a height of about 4 feet from the ground. In the sanctum sanctorum, a life-size statue of Durg Vinayak is enshrined facing north. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the temple.
