Samhar Bhairav is believed to be capable of taking away past sins and is said to have come from Bhairav Kshetra. Devotees who worship him believe that he can take away their sins. He is the guardian of the North East direction. The optimal time to worship him is from 5:00 am to 11:00 am and 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm, but the timings may change depending on the circumstances.
