About
In the same building as Adi Keshava, but on a lower level, can also be seen the shrine of Sangameshvara, celebrating the confluence of the Varuna to the Ganga River. From the pavilion of Adi Keshava, one can look down into the courtyard of this temple. A large size lingam in a deep rectangular vessel stands in a red stone temple opening on a small courtyard. in this compound one also meets several other divine images like Four-faced Shiva (Brahmshvara), images of nagas (snakes), Hanuman, Annapurna, Ganesha, and two sun discs. One of the sun discs symbolises the Keshavaditya, the sun of the Keshava.
