Lord Vishnu was describing in detail about various important places and pilgrimages etc. to Rishi Vindu. Devotees should take bath in Markandeya Tirtha and perform religious rituals for their ancestors and worship the nearby Markandeya Mahadev. At present the Markandeya pilgrimage has come to an end. By doing the above religious acts, all the heinous sins of a man are destroyed.
