Shri Atyugra Narsimha
Vishnu

About
Atyugra Narsimha is one of the 18 forms of Lord Vishnu that are said to be present in Kashi, according to a legend that is detailed in Kashi Khand. Lord Vishnu is present as Atyugra Narsimha in the western region of Kamleshwar Shiva. The terms Ati and Ugra, which describe Lord Vishnu's limitless might, are the ancestors of the word Atyugra. It is thought that through worshipping Lord Atyugra Narsimha, even a serious sin can be atoned for. The temple is still accessible for worship from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
